Know that saying? Thought you did.
Taking a different spin on the Gallery's topic this week which is Motherhood.
Can you guess who is who?

Of course, I did tell Nickie in an earlier post that I am the one who shouts a lot, is frequently in a bad mood, and has a lower tolerance than a worn piece of elastic...
That's brilliant. My kids' baby photos are like this too. But even more confusingly they all look like each other. So much so I often have to look for clues in the clothes, scene, to determine the identity! x
ReplyDeleteJust a wee question... why do you have the Article of Freedom of Speech on your blog? Was there any doubt you'd say it as it is? Luv ya blog Vx
ReplyDeleteGoing by the fashion I would guess you are in the top photo enjoying your moment in front of the camera? Lol great post!
ReplyDeleteVix - I had another couple I wanted to use, but could I locate them??? Not on your nellie.
ReplyDeleteRe the Article of FoS: you have inspired me to write another post about why this is here. About time too!
Mummymishaps - now how did you ever guess that I wonder?!?
I too have perfected that grumpy pout. I must dig it up - circa 1975 - HMx
ReplyDeleteWhy is it whenever you say 'smile' as you take a photo this is the result you get? Either that or a wallace & grommit type grin. Great pics
ReplyDeleteHaha! What an expression in that first one - far grumpier than your daughter!
ReplyDeleteLove how grumpy you are. Your daughter isn't nearly as grumpy!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
ReplyDeletehaha brilliant, how cute too :)
ReplyDeleteYes - can I just add that I have perfected my scowl over the years. It is now (nearly) perfect and can reap amazing results.
ReplyDeleteNo botox for me. Yet.
Ha ha, I have some very similar pics of my and Eldest daughter. Love it. x
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures and a great sulk by the looks of it. I've tagged you for a meme over at my place. x
ReplyDeletesmile please! (or not!) LOL
ReplyDeleteHmmm - crocheted top? That says 'too long ago for that to be a photo of one of your children' to me... (But what a lovely pout!)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has a photo of me at age 9 in what my daughter refers to as a retro bikini. I have a photo of her in her red bikini, age 9, and we look the same too. It's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Very pouty. The genetic thing is very spooky, I have trouble with pics of my brood, can't tell them apart! Lovely post!
ReplyDeleteHa ha!! Gorgeous pouty girls - there's nothing cuter Pxx
ReplyDeletePeas in a pod! I sometimes can only tell my children apart by what they are wearing, so I am assuming that the top one is you? Jen
ReplyDeleteLove this. My boy looks a lot like me, but is very blonde wheras I'm dark. Put photos of him and my mum as a child together though- you would swear they are the same child. Spooky. I love that you can see some of yourself in your children, just make the whole mother nature thing even more amazing. We are amazing, us mums :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I love these pics...wonderfully grumpy, matching faces!
ReplyDeleteI posted a picture of my newest granddaughter on Facebook the other day. Everyone agrees that she looks almost identical to her mother (my daughter) who, in turn, looks like me (poor child). My mum's best friend has simply said "Your mum lives on" and looking at photos of me and mum now, it's easy to see the resemblance. It's very strange how it's reaching through four generations.
ReplyDeleteLove your scowl - you look seriously annoyed!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures, Baba and my baby photos are very similar only the clothes show the difference x
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, you definitely look alike ;)
